Turkey stock for gravy, care of the New York Times.
Quick pickled carrots, blanched and then jarred with hot pickling liquid. 1 cup cider vinegar, 1 cup water and 1/6 cup salt, 1/3 cup sugar, and pickling spices of your choice. To be served before dinner.
