Creamy and chocolaty homemade hot chocolate is as simple as whisking and warming cocoa powder, sugar, and milk. Make it at home, or give the powdered cocoa mix as a gift!
This week, I got a needed reminder that sometimes we need to pause all the busyness of the season. For me, that pause came at the end of a difficult few days and in the form of this hot chocolate. Steamy, rich, and just sweet enough, it was the restorative break I needed.
Homemade hot chocolate is simple, so delicious, and super easy to make. All you need is a sauce pan and a whisk, cocoa powder, sugar, and milk. My favorite thing about homemade chocolate milk is that you can control the sugar and flavor of your hot chocolate exactly to your taste. Less sugar for me, more for my kids.
Please add marshmallows and whipped cream with abandon. Tis the season, after all.
